This section outlines how to unpack the cash register and get it ready to operate. You should read this part of the manual

Getting Started

Remove the tape holding parts of the cash regis-

ter in place. Also remove the small plastic bag

taped to the printer cover. Inside you will find

the mode keys.

Install the three memory backup batteries

(page 14).

Remove the cash register from its

box, making sure that all of the parts

and accessories are included.

Important!

These batteries protect the information stored in your cash register's memory when there is a power

failure or when you unplug the cash register. Be sure to install these batteries.
